By accessing our website, placing an order, or entering into a partnership or custom agreement, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.​

2. Products & Product Variation

Manzana products are made using reclaimed and recycled materials. As a result, natural variations in colour, texture, weave, and finish are inherent and expected.

All images displayed on our website, social media, catalogues, or marketing materials are for illustrative and reference purposes only. Final products may differ from images shown, and such differences do not constitute defects.

3. Custom Work & Bespoke Orders

Custom and bespoke work is developed through a collaborative process.

• Clients are encouraged to provide reference imagery, sketches, or inspiration to guide the design.

• Clients should approach the process with an open and collaborative mindset, allowing for material-led and sustainability-informed decisions.

• Material availability and reclaimed content may influence the final outcome.

Once a design, quotation, or sample has been approved:

• Production will proceed as agreed.

• No cancellations, refunds, or major design changes will be accepted once production has commenced, unless agreed in writing.

• Minor variations between approved concepts and final products are expected and accepted.

4. Corporate & Bulk Orders

Corporate and bulk orders are subject to the following conditions:

• Minimum order quantities may apply.

• Production timelines will be confirmed in writing and are estimates only.

• Branding elements (logos, colours, finishes) will be adapted to suit sustainable materials and ethical production processes.

• Clients confirm they hold the legal rights to use any logos, trademarks, or artwork supplied.

Manzana reserves the right to decline corporate orders that conflict with its ethical, environmental, or production values.

5. Pricing & Quotations

All prices and quotations:

• Are valid for a limited time only

• May change due to material availability or production requirements

• Exclude delivery costs unless stated otherwise

Quotes for custom and corporate work are estimates until final written approval.

6. Payment Terms

• Full payment or an agreed deposit is required before production begins.

• Deposits for custom and corporate work are non-refundable.

• Ownership of goods remains with Manzana until payment is received in full.

7. Production & Lead Times

Production timelines are estimates and may be affected by:

• Material sourcing and preparation

• Production capacity

• Public holidays or unforeseen circumstances

Manzana shall not be liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.

8. Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates only. Risk passes to the client upon dispatch. Manzana is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party couriers.

9. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our work:

• Custom-made, bespoke, corporate, and partnership orders are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless faulty.

• Variations in colour, texture, or finish are not considered defects.

• Any issues must be reported within a reasonable time after delivery.

10. Intellectual Property

All designs, content, imagery, and intellectual property remain the property of Manzana unless otherwise agreed in writing. No reproduction or use is permitted without prior consent.

11. Use of Website

You agree not to misuse this website or interfere with its functionality, security, or content.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Manzana shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall fall under South African jurisdiction.

14. Changes to Terms

Manzana reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Manzana Futures (NPC) – Additional Terms

Manzana Futures is a registered non-profit company (NPC) focused on community upliftment, skills development, ethical manufacturing, and circular design education.

• Corporate collaborations with Manzana Futures directly support training, employment, and artisan development initiatives.

• Products developed under Manzana Futures initiatives may contain 70–90% reclaimed content, resulting in inherent material variation.

• Participation in Manzana Futures projects does not entitle partners to ownership of intellectual property unless expressly agreed in writing.

• Contributions, sponsorships, or partnership fees directed to Manzana Futures are non-refundable, unless otherwise stipulated in a formal agreement.

Corporate Partnership Addendum

Corporate partnerships may include co-branded products, skills development programmes, ethical manufacturing initiatives, or impact-driven collaborations.

By entering a corporate partnership, partners acknowledge that:

• Sustainability, ethical production, and community impact guide all decision-making.

• Final products may differ from initial concepts due to reclaimed materials or production realities.

• Marketing or impact claims must be aligned with verified project outcomes and approved by Manzana.

• Manzana retains the right to reference partnerships for reporting, storytelling, and impact communication unless otherwise agreed.

All corporate partnerships will be governed by these Terms & Conditions unless superseded by a signed agreement.
